Tim Merriman is a Board Certified Pedorthist with 20 years of experience in the industry.  Before becoming certified, he worked as an Emergency Room Technician, assisting physicians in the ER.  Later, he became an Orthopedic Physician’s Assistant. Throughout each of these positions, Merriman gained experience in patient evaluation, measurement techniques in molding and casting, fitting and follow-up adjustments.   

Merriman’s expertise follows his ability to assist doctors and nurses.  He recently held a position with the Wound Clinic at Forest Park Hospital.  Moreover, he is knowledgeable in fitting specialized footwear and bracing for wound healing and wound prevention.  Merriman’s experience is mostly specific to the treatment of diabetic wounds as many of his patients are elderly and diabetic.

In addition to several requirements for the continuation of his education, he also serves on   the Board of Certification in Pedorthics.

Merriman graduated from the University of Missouri – St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science.
