Robert WeygandtRobert L. Weygandt CP, F.A.A.O.P., is an American Board Certified Prosthetist, who has been in the industry for 33 years.  In 2003, Weygandt became a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics, the highest distinction the Academy offers.  As the Director of Prosthetics and Orthotics for Wrymark, he is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois.  Weygandt has centered his career on continued education, with a commitment to provide his patients with the most up-to-date care.

In addition to his certification by the American Board, Weygandt is certified as a Prosthetist by the Veterans Administration and the Veterans’ Hospital.  He is also certified as a Practical Fitter by Camp Orthotic Supports and Appliances. Weygandt is affiliated with the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics Inc., as well as the Mid American Chapter of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists.

During his 33 years in the Prosthetic industry, Weygandt has been responsible for every aspect of the field including patient care, immediate post-op fittings, myoelectric limb prosthesis, trouble shooting of patient prosthetic problems, manufacturing prosthetic equipment, managing staff as well as sales and marketing of prosthetic appliances.

Weygandt received a Certificate from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Ill., an A.A.S. Degree in Prosthetics from Olive Harvey College in Chicago and a B.A.A.B.S. Degree from National Louis University in Evanston, Ill. Since that time, he has continued his education with a number of training courses and seminars including training in the Ossur Knee, C-legs and the Vacume leg.
